Agreement
By accessing or using Rationale, you agree to these Terms. If you use Rationale on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
The service
Rationale provides decision memory software: connecting sources, extracting decision records, a review queue, and retrieval features including search and Ask. Features may change as we improve the product. We will make reasonable efforts to notify workspace owners of material changes.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure
- Ensure you have rights to connect Slack workspaces, transcripts, and other content
- Comply with applicable laws and your organization's policies
- Not misuse the service, probe systems without authorization, or interfere with other users
Content & ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit or connect. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service. AI- generated drafts and summaries are provided as suggestions — you are responsible for reviewing and confirming records before relying on them.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, violate third-party rights, or use Rationale to store highly sensitive regulated data (e.g. health or payment card data) unless we have agreed in writing. We may suspend access for violations.
Availability & disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" during early access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that extracted decisions are complete or error-free. See our status page for current operational information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rationale and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Rationale at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. Upon termination, your right to access the workspace ends; export and deletion are handled per our Privacy Policy.
